CAPT. J. PATWARDHAN

Capt. Patwardhan is a Shipping & Maritime Leader with over 25 years of senior management experience and excellence in the Maritime industry.

He excels in driving transformation and modernization of business across People, Processes & Systems, with high focus on Sustainable Growth for Farohar, and is actively involved in Digital Transformation Projects at Farohar. He is also senior advisor for Farohar’s Technical, HSEQ, Marine, Crewing, Environment and Business Assurance and Sustainability related projects.

Capt. Patwardhan has successfully held many leadership roles including Director, General Manager, Technical Fleet Manager, Marine Fleet Manager, Crewing Manager Fleet, HSEQ Manager Fleet, and Technical Vessel Manager in leading Ship Management and Ship Owning companies. He also works closely with several committees and technical groups across the maritime industry.

He has completed on invitation by MPA, the Maritime Leadership program with Singapore Management University & Sustainability Reporting & Governance program with National University of Singapore. He is also a lead auditor for ISM & ISO 9001 & 14001 standards and MLC Standards.

Capt. Patwardhan is also officially appointed and recognized as a Maritime Domain Expert by Maritime Ports Authority of Singapore for its programs. He is also member of the Innovation Committee with MPA.
